Kimmie's 1st doctors appointment

So we took Kimmie in on the 21st of September to have her weight checked and to make sure she was eating enough. When we left the hospital on the 19th she weighed 6lbs 10oz. When we weighed her on the 21st she weighed 6lbs 15oz! She was only four days old!!! Her first real doctors appointment was on the 25th of September where she weighed 7lbs 8oz! She is doing great at nursing as you can tell : ) She didn't like being cold! I can't blame her though. We are just having so much fun with her! On the following Monday a lady came to my house just to see how I was doing and baby and to answer any questions that I might have. (they have lots of awesome programs here) Anyway she brought a scale with her to weigh Kimmie. We weighed her and she was 8lbs 5oz! She almost gained a pound in 3 days! I tell ya! She is getting long. She has a really chubby face! I Love it!!! She is just growing so quickly! Here are some cute pictures of her before we went to her doctors appointment. : )

Saying Goodbye to Grandma

We have had such a fun time with Grandma Shirley here. Mom and I have pampered ourselves during her visit here. Which was Great and much needed! First we went and got pedicure's done with our friend Susie. Another day we went and got our hair cut! After that we went shopping! So much fun!!! The boys loved having Grandma Shirley here, they would climb into bed with her and snuggle. Malachi was the main one who would do this. He would tell her Grandma I need to come in and sleep with you tonight. They didn't want Grandma to go but they understand that she needed to get back home. Since Grandma's flight was early in the morning we thought it best not to wake up the boys. They all said goodbye to Grandma before they went to bed. Lim, Mom and I decided to stay up. We ended up only getting a couple of hours of sleep! It is hard to say goodbye and we wanted to make the night last I guess. hehehe Not a good activity the next day though. We all had a good time though. Mom and I had taken a nap earlier so we felt energized for a while there. We stayed up, watched movies, talked, and laughed with one another. I sure miss having family close by. It was a great night though. In the morning when it was about time to leave Mom was saying goodbye to Kimmie, when Isaac came down the stairs. He didn't want Grandma to leave and if she had to he was going to make sure he could give her one more hug! Well after Isaac came Malachi and Alma as well. They were all feeling that way. So sweet! I was happy because I was able to take a picture, something I almost forgot to do! So they are all looking their best bright and early in the morning, jammies and all : ) The boys went with Daddy and Grandma to the airport while Kimmie and I stayed home to get some more rest. We want to say a big Thank You to Grandma Shirley for coming and helping us. We all Love and Miss You!!!! : )

Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

I want to say sorry for not posting very much. We have had quiet the last couple of weeks. Shortly after Grandma Shirley left Alma became sick. He had the flu. We took him in and they confirmed it was the flu.(I talked with my doctor later and was told that pretty much anyone who has the flu right now has the swine flu!) Then Lim was the next in line to get it since he had been taking care of Alma. Isaac couldn't stay away from both of them so he was next and then Malachi. We changed our guest room into the sick room! Lim and all the boys who were sick slept in there. Trying to contain it! I have kept all the boys far from Kimmie and myself! Not a fun thing to do! I have been feeling like a horrible mother! I want to cuddle them and to let them love on their new sister who they all adore and love, but I wanted to keep Kimmie and myself far from their illness. I have been praying like no other for it to keep away from Kimmie and myself. We have been given blessings and with the power of those blessings the boys are now good to go and Lim is too! Yay!! I have been also faced with some other physical health problems during this time which was making it very difficult for me to do much, (not that I could do much in the first three weeks). It has been hard and very painful but I am grateful for these trials that we have been faced with. One my testimony on the power of the Priesthood and Prayer has been strengthened. Two I have been able to see the Lords hand in these trials and have seen his tender mercies. I am grateful for the gospel, and to have a new addition to our family. I can't wait to start taking pictures with all of my children! To show all of you all the cute things our children are doing! I know that I wouldn't have been able to grow or to rely upon the Savior so much had I not gone through these trails. I can truly say that I am grateful for our Savior and the trials that he gives me so that I can be the person I am supposed to be. I do have pictures of Kimmie that I haven't posted yet. : ) I will be posting those soon. : )

Kim Yonn

Okay I figured I would let everyone know how everything went with the birth of our sweet Kim Yonn. We went into the hospital around 8am. Was checked right in and started going through the process of getting ready for the surgery. I was feeling nervous about the whole spinal block part ( just because of my prior surgery with Alma, I was yelled at). Anyway my nurses were great! We had a hard time getting an IV to start though. They ended up trying 5 times to get one started. On the 5th time, the 3rd nurse got it her first try. I was very thankful at that time since I started feeling like a pin cushion. So once we had that going things were looking great. I went into the or and was getting my spinal block which went great! They got it the first try!!! Happy Day! I was so giddy when Lim came in because they got it the first try! No worries there. They started cutting and things were going good then I started to feel sick. I found out that they gave me morphine! NOT A GOOD ACTIVITY! I had it with Alma and I couldn't stop throwing up. I guess I am technically not allergic but close enough, to the point that my doctor tells me to say that I am. So that no one will ever give it to me again! (I'll explain more later) So I start to throw up during the surgery (another fear that I had) but it went just fine. The doctors stopped and waited while I was given anti-nausea meds to help. One thing about a spinal block once it is in, it is in your system for 10 to 18 hours! Good times.... We were planning on Lim staying for the whole c-section. Shortly after Kim Yonn (also known as Kimmie)was born they asked Lim if he would like to go with baby to the nursery. We kind of looked at each other and just didn't think much of it at the time. I told him I would be fine and he left with her. I was still sick at this time the anti nausea meds were not working. They ended up putting me to sleep! ( Another fear I had but it wasn't bad at all) I remember hearing the surgeon asking my doctor how things were going and I heard her reply better but not good. That is when they gave me the meds to put me to knock me out. I guess what happened is that I was losing a lot of blood and my uterus was not contracting down! My doctor physically took my uterus out of my body and was trying to contract it down with her own hands! I was still losing blood and trying to save me from having a hysterectomy they start potocin to see if that would get things going as a last chance kind of thing. I am grateful that they did because it worked! Yay!!! I did end up loosing a liter of blood. (We have 9 liters of blood in our bodies) I didn't have a blood transfusion though which was nice. I have heard that they hurt! So my planned normal c-section went to emergency but everyone was calm and did a great job! I kept on being sick after the surgery was done. My doctor told Lim that we would have to have a serious talk when I am more awake and aware. I was so out of it. Besides getting sick my blood pressure dropped alot and then I had the cold sweats, I was completely drenched! Not a good feeling let me tell you! My temp dropped so bad that they had to put a bear hug blanket on me. That is a blanket that is attached to this machine and it blows hot air on you! It goes from your feet all the way up to your neck! You feel very closed in! They did this because my temp wasn't even reading on the thermometer. I finally stopped getting sick! Yay!!! My doctor came by and gave me some broth and jello and ice chips! ( it is great personally knowing your doctor!) Anyway I was so starved and weak from everything that happened earlier that day that I was drinking the broth so quickly that I ended up getting sick again but it didn't hurt because I wasn't dry heaving! Thank goodness!!! After that, that is all she wrote about me being sick! Yay. Anyway Lim and our good friend Max came by and gave me a blessing a little before this, which is why I stopped getting sick and things started to change around for the better! My nurses were worried about me and one of my nurses thought of me all night even when she was off. She came in the next day for her shift, saw me and was so re leaved to see me doing so well. I am so grateful to have my husband hold the priesthood. At around 11pm that night I felt good. I was able to hold a conversation. At four in the morning I was able to get up and walk around! Yay!!! I took a much needed shower and felt like a person again!!! Happy Day!!! My doctor came in the next day and all three of us had a talk. My Mom was out in the waiting room with the boys. She told us how very risky it will be if I become pregnant again because my uterus is stretched so thin they are afraid that my placenta might go through my uterus and attach itself to either my bladder or intestines. Since she is a member she understands the power of prayer. She told us to make this a matter of prayer and fasting. We ask that you keep us in your prayers and in your fasting this coming up fast Sunday. We are so grateful for all of your prayers in our behalf. Life is good : )

Kim Yonn is here!!! : )

I am just going to post a few pictures of our sweet angel. It is getting late and I promise to post more soon. I just couldn't wait to post these pictures!! Kimmie weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 19.5 inches long. By far my smallest baby! We absolutely love her! The boys just adore her and are so happy to have her be apart of our family. Malachi said Mom Heavenly Father gave us such a small sweet baby. I said yes he did. The boys are always wondering where Kimmie is. If they can't see her right away they will ask Mom where is Kim Yonn?! I tell them she is right here either next to me or in a bassinett. They are super cute. Isaac is always washing his hands so he can touch her arm or give her a kiss. Alma is loving on her too. He says Mom she is so sweet!!! She is so gorgeous! Totally cracks me up! I am just loving this time with the boys and her. Lim totally is wrapped around her finger. We all are. hahahaha We are Loving Life!!!! : ) I promise to post a lot more pics soon. : )

Date Changed again!

I received a call from my surgeon's office yesterday morning telling me I am not going to be happy. (not a good thing to hear) Then she went on to tell me that they have pushed my date back once again to Thursday! My Dr. had nothing to do with this decision. I guess my surgeon was going to be gone on Thursday so that is why they were going to do Wednesday but since he is going to be at work on Thursday now they decided to change the date again and make it Thursday. They said that they won't change it on me again but I have heard that before and I am not writing it down on my calendar until I leave that morning to go in and have Kim Yonn!! My poor calendar is all blacked out and looking horrible! I will be doing my labs tomorrow and then Thursday is the big day! I can't wait!!! I am grateful for the extra day. I am able to get last minute things done around the house and able to get last minute items that we needed. My hubby gave me a blessing last night with one of our good friends and that helped me out a lot. I was in such a black mood yesterday after getting off the phone. I don't like feeling that way!!! Of course no one else likes it either. Can't say I blame them. So today I went shopping and tomorrow I will need to get somethings that I forgot like curtains for Kimmie's room and the boys' room. I totally spaced that one. I just thought I would keep everyone updated. I will be going in at eight this time. Which I think is the best time because it isn't too early or too late. The boys will be able to have their normal sleeping routine and be able to wake up and get ready and then Bethany will pick up my boys and take them to school. : ) I know that they will be sooo excited!!! I know I am! hahahahahahahaha Well I better go almost time to pick up Malachi from school.

So Sweet : )

Malachi did the sweetest thing tonight. I had already put the boys down for bed this evening. I had to play their primary song CD because my neighbors two houses down from me was having a party and they were incredibly loud!! To say the least. Anyway the music helped the boys and they went to bed. Malachi who out of the three boys hardly ever wakes up in the middle of the night, woke up tonight. I asked the usual questions such as are you okay, do you feel sick, are you hurting, do you need to go potty? All those lovely questions. He replied no to all of them. Then he climbed onto the arm of the chair next to me, put his arm around me,looked at me and said Mom, are you feeling lonely? It took me by surprise. I was totally not expecting that one tonight. I looked at him and said no buddy I am okay I am talking to Grandma right now. He then put his head on my shoulders and cuddled for a moment and then asked if I would tuck him in again. How sweet is that! Makes me almost cry. They are really in tuned. I needed that tonight. I have been feeling so worn out and just tired and a little down since Kate and Mal left. I have been okay though just at night it can be lonely when my hubby isn't there. I am happy to say that Tuesday he will be home! Also that his SGT came to the house to pick up something and said to me that he didn't want to see my hubby at work until Thursday! So we can have some time together before he starts working again!! What a Great boss for one and two we are just really blessed! I Love my husband and children. I am blessed to have such sweet boys. : ) I just thought I would share that. : )

So Kate and I have done lots of crafts!! It has been so much fun having her here and doing crafts with her. We did all but one craft! I think that is pretty good esp since I had my fall and was out of commission for a while. That is another post though. So here are some pictures of the crafting we have done. We made bows for our girls to put on their headbands made out of tights. I Love the big flowers on little girls so I made a couple of big ones and will be making smaller ones soon. : )Kate made big and small ones. We were getting tired and silly. We had a Great Time!!!! Next is the bow holders. They look like ballerina dresses!!! I Love them! I saw the idea on Tamara's friends blog and I thought that they were so adorable!!! I couldn't help myself! Last but not least we made fancy wipe holders!! We even made a big one too!! I am thinking about selling some of these crafts. Kate and I like to call ourselves the hotglue gun girls. hahahaha It makes you feel good when you make something awesome for your chillin's!!! : ) Well enjoy the pics. Let me know what you think. : ) Also sorry that it has taken me so long to post.

We have our Date : )

I just went and saw the surgeon today. We have scheduled my c-section for the 15th of September!!! Yeppie!!! I can't wait!!! One day after Collin's how funny is that! There is still lots to do and such a little time. It seems like I have for forever but I know it will come up quick!! Also Lim will be home on the 1st!!!! I can't wait!!! Nor can the boys!! They miss their daddy so much!!! He will have lots of work waiting for him when he comes home but then, two weeks later. He will be off of work for a little while to help me with the baby! I am so happy about that!!! The boys also can't wait to see Grandma Bergman!! : ) I can't wait!!! : )

Kimmie's room set

Kate helped me pick this out for Kimmie. I was looking online mostly just because most of the stores with variety are at least an hour away. Plus with my fall it has been hard walking around. Anyway so were looking online and I saw lots of cute baby room decor. I was thinking that I wouldn't find one that I loved because there was something wrong with each of them. Rather it be the price or a bed skirt or something like that. Anyway we went to walmart online and found a 10 piece room set for only $85.00!!!! I was so excited!!! It is pink and brown. So cute too!!! Here is a picture we pulled off of the Internet. I don't know if you will be able to tell but the brown has little polka dots!!! So cute!!! Everything you see in the picture comes with it except the stuff animal and the rug and the cute holder that the stuff animal is in. I am totally happy with it and can't wait to get Kimmie's room set up!!!

We had a pretty awesome 4th of July! Chad (my brother in law) flew in on the 2nd of July to be with his family plus us of course for the fourth! It was so much fun having him here. As an added bonus my Dad and Sandi called us up while we were driving home from California and wanted to see if they could come up as well. We of course were really excited about it and said yes! To say the least we had a full house but everyone was able to have their own rooms and be comfortable which was great! We went to the parade in the morning to watch Lim! We weren't able to get a picture of Lim : ( There was too many soldiers and he was on the oppisite side where we were but it was Awesome none the less and to hear everyone cheering and clapping and to hear all the comments of how thankful people were for our soldiers, it brought tears to my eyes. I just want to say that it is great having a husband serving and fighting for our country! The boys and I couldn't be more proud of him! : ) After the parade we went home fed the chillin's and put them down for a well needed nap. We came home just in time. Dad and Sandi called us to say that they were at a gas station on post and needing one of us to show them how to get to our house. After naps we went to our good friends house the Jones' and had a blast! Lots of good food. I ate way too much but loved every bit of the food. They smoked a turkey and a brisket! Yummy!!! There was lots more of good food but too much to name it all. : ) Then we played games and watched the fire works from their house. So nice not having to worry about traffic and all that jazz! It was great! I did get bit by some wierd bug! My whole arm was swollen the next day! It was crazy but we said some prayers and it went away!!! I am so grateful for prayer! Chad stayed till the 7th and Dad and Sandi left on the 6th of July. It was a short visit but a fun one to say the least. We all have Great Memories to cherish! It was a Great 4th of July!!!! : )

My new hair cut

So I have been needing a hair cut for a very long time! So Kate and I finally went and got our hair cut before Lim left to BNOC. I was really happy with my hair cut! The lady who did Kate's didn't listen very well. She cut Kate's hair a lot shorter then what Kate wanted. She is still getting used to it but it is still cute! I think she looks great. Kate and I were both traumatized when we were younger. My Mom took us to this lady who didn't know how to cut hair and made us both look like boys! Not a good activity! Anyway so we were teased horribly for the hair cuts we were given. So I haven't had short hair for a long long time because of it. Now I am over it and totally Love my short hair cuts! This is the shortest I have gone. I do love it though. It is easy and my kind of style. Kate is getting used to her hair cut and since we came home and styled it our way she feels much more better about it. Here is our before and after pictures. : )

We are home

We are home now. We got back two Monday's ago. We ended up driving back instead of flying. We inherited Keni's car (which we ended up trading cars with Lim's Dad, since his car has less miles on it and is more new) That has been such a blessing. We have been trying to figure out how Lim was going to get to VA for the 2nd part of BNOC. So this has been an answer to prayers. Through this experience we have become much closer to my husbands side of the family. I am grateful for the knowledge that we have of the Plan of Salvation. It has been a great comfort to me. Lim is doing good. It is still hard for him but he is doing better. We are both looking forward to doing his temple work in a year! It just seems so weird that he is gone but I know that he is in a much better place and is no longer suffering. When we came home the next day Chad Kate's husband came and it has been fun having him here with us. Dad and Sandi came up for the fourth of July it was a full house but we all had a blast. Lim has been put on the flag detail where he hangs up the posts flag and folds it at the end of the day. I do have pictures to share just haven't had the time to put them on my computer yet. I have lots of pics from California but I am waiting to get those in the mail. We ended up going to Knott's Berry Farm for free which was so much fun. It was hot but the kids had a blast! Alma couldn't get enough of the rides and wanted to go on the big roller coasters!!! This boy has no fear which totally freaks me out! hahahaha It was nice to go somewhere fun with the boys. We went with Sean, and her fiance David and Davie her sister! We had a blast. I will post the pictures once they come. Lim was in the Fourth of July parade! He was on the opposite side of us so we didn't get a picture of him in formation but it was a whole lot of fun and we did take some pictures of that. So lots of pictures to come. I will add more detail when I post the pictures. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well. I better go I have four children up and needing my attention. Kate is on her way back from taking her hubby to the airport.

Heading to California

We are getting ready to head to California. Lim's brother Keni passed away yesterday afternoon around 1:30 central time. He put up a good fight but his body couldn't take everything. We will be gone for about tweleve days. I will update more when I can. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Update

Here is an update on Keni. Since I have wrote last things have been really crazy. We have had lots of close calls and then been given lots of hope. There has been lots of ups and downs. As of right now Keni is on life support and dialysis. From what Lim said his oxygen levels are up and he is responding better. We were told that he had brain damage earlier this week but from what I was told this morning he doesn't have any so that is good. We don't know what is going to happen but will keep you all posted. We just keep praying that the Lords will, will be done. We are grateful to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. My sister has been in the hospital twice this week. She is doing much better now and has been released from the hospital. We are hoping that the clots will go away soon. She is on two kinds of blood thinners and will be until her levels are what they want them to be at. She is in good spirits just gets cabin fever quickly so hopefully she will have more visitors this time to help with that. I so wish I could be there but I am needed here with my boys. : ) She is doing well though and we are Grateful for that. Again Thank you all : )

Please Pray for Us.

Today has been quiet the day! This early afternoon I found out that my oldest sister Amy has cancer. She has stage 1 germ cell cancer. It is the easiest to treat and coming from people who have lost loved ones to cancer they said if you are going to have cancer this is the kind that you want. She is recovering from her surgery right now and then they are going to start Chemo in about four weeks.

Lim received a phone call this early evening stating that his brother Keni is on life support and has been in a coma since last Sunday!!! He woke up for a brief moment while Lim was talking to his youngest brother Joey. Keni didn't know what was going on and was scared then fell right back into a coma again. He didn't speak or anything. The doctors said that they have done everything medically possible to save him and that it is up to Keni now. We have been praying for him! Lim is leaving tomorrow morning to fly back home. Unfortunately we will not be able to go with him. It is good that he goes. He really wants to give him a priesthood blessing. I think that will make miracles happen. We did receive a phone call from Joey tonight saying that Keni is showing signs of improvement. That his left lung is worse then his right. We just have to have faith and hope and pray.

More pics of Malachi's first field trip!!

I couldn't get all the pics on one post so here is the rest of the pics. : )

Malachi's First Field Trip

I didn't have my camera with me when we went to the zoo for Malachi's first field trip! I was so bummed! Our charger is MIA! So thanks to some good friends of ours they took pictures and sent them to me. I still have one more friend who has some pictures for me but I thought I would post what I have. :) Malachi had a great time. Lim was able to come with us along with Isaac and Alma. We were all there and it was just a great day to spend time with eachother at the zoo. It was funny to watch Malachi with his friends. He wouldn't eat his lunch unless Daddy was standing next to him. He is afraid of the peacocks still! One came by him years ago at the zoo back home while we were eating. Since then he refuses to eat if there are peacocks around. Poor guy I hope he will grow out of that soon. These peacocks are pretty bold though. They will come right up to you and get a crumb or piece of food right next to your foot and if you are not careful they will get on the table! So crazy! Anyway we had a blast and here are the pictures of Malachi and his school mates : ) Enjoy. Malachi is almost done with Kindergarten!!! Man where does the time go! He only has two more days! Then he will go into 1st grade and Isaac and Alma start preschool next year!!! Half day but still what am I going to do before the baby is born??? I guess just get ready for the baby. hahahaha I have always had a child at home for the past 6 years. It will be weird that they are all in school well at least for half the day. Time goes by too fast!

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!

This was our second ultrasound and it totally made up for the one that we had on Friday! This is what happened on Friday... They made me wait about forty minutes after my appointment time to be seen I had such a full bladder that five minutes into the ultrasound they asked me to half drain my bladder. Yeah not the easiest thing to do but I did. Anyway they wouldn't let my hubby come back with me while they did the measuring which was way weird because they did when I was spotting! Anyway so he waited in the waiting room for an hour! I wasn't able to see the screen at all during the whole time! Anyway so she went and grabbed Lim and started to show us the baby. We saw the heart beating which made us happy to see but she showed us that for about thirty seconds then showed us the kidney's and stomach and the foot kicking me but not the whole foot just toes. Then she went to see if it would be a boy or girl for two seconds said sorry cord is in the way, I couldn't tell, then wiped off the equipment and my tummy and that was all she wrote! Then she printed out this cruddy picture the worst I have ever seen where all you could see was the baby's knuckles moving so everything was blurry and you could hardly tell what it was! Even when I showed the tech today she could hardly tell. Crazy! Anyway so after giving me the picture she held the door wide open while I am still exposed and I am trying to hurry and pull up my pants tuck in my garments and fix my two layers of shirts! Not an easy task when the tech is still in the room holding the door wide open!!!! Yeah not a good activity I ended up just pulling up my pants as best as I could pulling my shirts down and saying that I would fix myself in the car. Lim was so upset! So I called up this other ultrasound office that does 3-D to see if they would just do a simple ultrasound where I could get a couple of pictures of the baby and see if we are having a boy or girl. They were so awesome and said Yes for 75 dollars they would give us 4 to 6 pictures and would try to see if we were having a boy or girl. We went in there and they were awesome!!!! The tech was GREAT and the quality was so much better!!!! Anyway they ended up printing us 15 pics one of which was a 3-D pic for free because the tech felt so bad for what we went through. She was so Awesome!!! It was incredible I am almost glad that we went through that so we could find this great place!!!!! Lim is super excited to have a girl! She is already softening his heart! I Love it!!! He was shocked at first but through out the day it has become a reality. We told the boys and they are so excited! Alma at first said No I don't want a baby! He just woke up from a nap and was a cranky bear. hahaha but when he woke up all the way he was so excited. Isaac said I have to give the baby a kiss and hug Mom before I go to bed. It was so sweet! Today was such a good day!!!! We were going back and forth on a name but we think we will stick with Kim Yonn Eileen Horn. Kim Yonn is my Mother in Law's name and Eileen is my middle name which has been passed down from my Mother and her Mother and I think her Mother. We are so excited!!!! We just couldn't wait to share the news!!! : )

My little helper or is he?????

Here is a picture of my little helper. That is what he was thinking he was doing this morning when I asked him just to go downstairs after he had woken up. I was taking care of a few things upstairs and asked him to go downstairs and get ready for breakfast. Well I had clean laundry that needed to be folded and put away last night but I decided to do some reading and go to bed early last night. So Isaac thought that he would be a big helper and take all the clean laundry and put them in the washer! Turkey. I was telling Malachi how he needs to put some clothes in his bin in their room and Isaac came up so proud of himself saying Mom I already did that! I asked him what do you mean, he said downstairs I put all the clothes in the laundry room! I looked at him and said not the clothes on the chase?? He said yeah I will show you! I went downstairs and thankfully he put it in the washer last time he put it on the floor and had dirty clothes mixed in with them, and yes they were folded and I was putting them away when he did that one. hahahahaha awww I told Isaac next time put only the clothes I ask you to put in the laundry room in there. K He of course was a little confused but said okay. I wonder if he will do that next time. Hahahahaha Good times. Just thought I would share that with you.

Mother's Day!!! : )

I had a very relaxing Mother's Day. It started very early since I had a meeting at the church at 8:30 that morning! I heard Lim's alarm go off I think like three times. He hasn't been feeling well and was trying to get up to serve me breakfast in bed. Poor guy. After the third time of his alarm going off I looked at the clock and saw that it was 7! Awww so I ran into the shower and hurried to get ready! Lim in the mean time woke up the boys fed them breakfast made me breakfast and had all their clothes ready to go and dressed himself, so we could all go to church at the same time. He dressed all the boys in their Sunday best at church while I was at my meeting. When we came home we had leftovers for lunch and we all took a much needed nap! When the boys woke up he took care of them so I could sleep a little bit longer. Then he made us yummy fried rice : ) He is such a good cook : ) The boys made me pot holders that say I Love You Mom with flowers on them. Very cute! So now I have three pot holders. After dinner we just hung out around the house and had our friends come over to help eat up the fried rice hahaha. We made a chocolate pudding pie with canned cherries and whipped cream to go on top! Yummy!!!! It was a very nice day!

I am very thankful for my boys and my hubby. I am Grateful to be a Mom and to have another edition coming soon to our family!!! We are all very excited about this baby! I am thankful for my Mother and all her prayers and Love! We all miss being with our family but love the phone calls that we have. Life is good!!! : )

Crazy Dreams!!

Whenever I am pregnant I have really weird dreams! I think it is all the hormones. Last night I had the worst dream!!! It was not a good activity at all! I woke up crying it was so sad. I had a dream that kids were being kidnapped and I was a teacher but they were kidnapped at their houses! It was so sad and I was trying to help find them and it was horrible! In this dream Malachi also kept trying to run down the street to this huge gutter! It had iron bars but he was the size of when he was two again and he could fit through them! I ran after him and by the time I got to him, he was about to let go of the curb! I told him never to do that and he looked at me and was like why Mom? It was just freaky and gave me chills!!! I am still a little disturbed by it hence the reason for me posting this.

On a good note last night my friend took me to get my very first Manicure!!! I have gone and had the fake nails put on before but never a manicure and it was really nice!!! I was thinking what a great gift for Mothers Day!!! The lady there asked to see our hands and as soon as she saw mine she said You need one!! I told her I have man hands. hahahaha So I am happy to say that they are looking more like a women's now. Hahahaha After our manicures we went for Coldstone. Yummy!!! Since it was Tuesday college night if you bought one ice cream the second one was only 25 cents! It was packed in there but so tasty and worth it! I had chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, hot fudge, and then Reeses Peanut butter cups! I thought it might be too rich but man it was well balanced and very tasty!!! I am glad I only bought a like it size since I scarfed the whole thing! hahaha My doctor says that I am only supposed to gain a half a pound a week. I don't know if I will make it this week. hahahaha

Here are pictures of me : )

I have been meaning to post these pictures that I took of me before our camera's battery ran out. I can't find the charger : ( So we are not able to take pictures right now. I did promise that I would take some pictures so that everyone who isn't here with me can see what I am looking like these days. I can tell ya I am smaller then what I was with the boys!!! I took these myself so not the best but it works : )These were taken around the 10th of this month. In some the of the pictures the baby would be really out in front and then would decide to hide. hahahaha so sometimes you can see my belly and other times you can't. Such a different pregnancy. Oh I almost forgot last night was the first time the boys were able to feel the baby kick. They were so excited! Lim felt the baby last night as well. It was a sweet moment.

I am okay now : )

I just wanted to give a quick update saying that I do feel much better. : ) I went to bed feeling better and this morning was great even though we had really cruddy weather and are under a tornado watch. We just were under a tornado warning but all is well and I was comforted the whole time. Lim was gone doing home teaching and was off post when the sirens were going off. I called him and he texted me back asking what was going on. I said don't you hear the sirens??? He said no then I told him that we are under a tornado warning and so they decided to come home. hahahaha The sad thing is that I had the two oldest boys down for a nap and Alma was almost asleep then the sirens went off and I had to wake them up and take them into our laundry room which is really small and cramped and HOT! So much for naps today. I am looking forward to the early bed time tonight : ) Good times in Kansas I tell ya. We are all safe and doing good. : )

Missing Family and Friends

So my hubby is bowling right now with one of his soldiers who is getting out of the army. We went out to dinner as a family with his soldier and a couple of other friends. The boys loved it! I ate way too much! The baby wasn't so happy about that. hahaha To get back onto the subject all day today I haven't been in the best of moods. I was trying to figure out why all day. (especially when Lim asked me why I wasn't my happy self.) I was just bugged today. So since he is gone and the boys are in bed I started to have time to really think about it and I have finally come up with the reason...... I just miss our family and friends! We were going to have two visitors visit us this coming up next two weeks, but things weren't able to go through because of life and I totally understand why they can't come but I am just feeling bummed out right now. I guess it doesn't help adding pregnant hormones to it either. I am just feeling really emotional right now. I don't like feeling so emotional. I have been thinking about when the boys and I went camping with Uncle Britt & Aunt Crystal & Alexis, Stephanie & John & their boys, and Greg and Michelle. It was a lot of fun. The boys had a great time and I did too. Oh Yeah I also had Lisa and Jeanette with me as well. We really had a great time. I am wishing that we could do that again this year except I would have my hubby be there this time of course!! : ) I am just missing being around our loved ones and just having good times : ) I am sure I will be just fine tomorrow. : ) Since my hubby isn't here right now for me to say this all too I am posting a blog. I am sure I will feel silly tomorrow after I post this blog. I just needed to get it off my chest. Miss you all dearly.

Last night Malachi had his very 1st music program from school. He was kind of shy at first, which is kind of funny since he has been doing programs with primary. He is so funny. He was really excited before the program and doing all the actions to the songs and then when it started he hid his hands behind his back and was just staring. It was so cute. Then he warmed up towards the middle of the program. It was a patriotic theme which I thought was so stinkin cute! Here are the songs that they sang starting with: Star Spangled Banner, America (My Country Tis' of Thee), America the Beautiful, Yankee Doodle, Battle Hymn of the Republic, When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Hooray for Mr. Lincoln, Hooray for Mr. Washington, I've Been Workin on the Railroad, This Land is Your Land, March of the Wee Americans, and last but not least God Bless America!!! I am so Proud of how well he did. I started to get emotional, which is silly but it just touched my heart. He is such a sweet boy who is really Proud of his Daddy being a Soldier. He always says that when he grows up he wants to be a Soldier just like his Daddy, who's his Hero. I have to say a special Thanks to my dear friend Jessica for letting me borrow her camera since I can't find my charger and my camera is dead! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I totally forgot my video camera to record it but at least I have pictures to post. : ) Life is Good. : )

Easter

We had a very calm Easter. Well we had stake conference right after we just had General conference so Alma was a bit on the crazy side. The weird thing is I took him out and we sat in the Kitchen so we could listen to what was being said. It was a regional stake conference so we were able to go to our ward building and hear from the Prophet two weeks in a row! Awesome!!! Anyway so Alma did great when it was just the two of us. He sat on my lap and listened but as soon as I went back in he started acting up again. I tell ya. So we hung out mainly in the kitchen. After that everyone took a nice long nap. Awww so nice. Then we all got up the chicken was done in the crock pot yummy. I ended up making a whole chicken in the crock pot, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and peaches for dinner. It was quiet tasty. It was nice just enjoying the peaceful day. We did end up dying eggs later that evening for fun and then for FHE on Monday we did an Easter egg hunt. The boys had a good time and couldn't wait to eat their eggs that we had dyed. We finally did last night, potato salad and egg salad sandwiches. Yumm Yes lots of eggs but it was good anyway. We had a good friend over that my husband deployed with to Iraq. He came to church with us during General Conference the Sunday afternoon session. He felt the spirit very strongly. He started looking at his life and things that he has done and feeling a need to change. We are praying that his heart will continue to be softened and that he will come back unto the fold. He really is a sweet person that kids just love. It is amazing to see him with children. I feel so close to our Savior and Heavenly father as we talk to him about the gospel and to see how it changes our lives. I am very grateful for our Savior and for this time that we have to reflect on our Savior's life and all that he has done for us and how we can strive to live more like him. I know that this is the True Gospel here upon the earth and how grateful I am to be apart of it. I am challenging myself to share the gospel more and not to be timid but to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

Me being Crafty!!! It was fun : )

Okay so I had to post this because I think it turned out super cute and I did this free hand! I was talking to Tamara and she showed me this super cute idea of a bow and clip holder for little girls!!! I know I have all boys but since I would love to have a girl someday she indulges me : ) hahahaha Anyway plus I do have nieces to spoil so anyway I saw this and just decided to make one for my friends daughter for her birthday! She thought it was okay but all the Mom's were like how cute!!! It was funny. Anyway I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I have learned a lot from making that one so I will be making more and making some changes but I still like thought it was cute! : )

Malachi was so excited for his birthday that he woke up at six something.(not too sure on the time hehe) Isaac and Alma woke up as well with all the excitement! I heard Isaac say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALACHI!!!! Which was so cute! Malachi said Thanks Isaac and then he came into my room. Where I was acting like I was asleep. He walked in and I was expecting him to be jumping off of the walls but he was being really sweet and trying to be quiet. I of course couldn't act anymore and looked up at him and said Happy Birthday Birthday Boy!!!! He had a huge smile on his face and said Thanks Mom! Then he gave me a big hug and went back into his room to talk to his brothers. As I was doing my morning routine, all three of them went downstairs. See Malachi was sent a package for his birthday from Auntie Seesa, Net, Clairey, and Uncle Travo. He was so excited to see what they had sent him that he opended it before I even came down the stairs!! I even have a hard time opening those packages. Hahahahaha He did it though. He Loved it!!! They made him this Awesome Birthday card! We went and brought lunch to Malachi, and then came back later and brought popcicles for his birthday, to his class. It was a big hit who knew that popcicles would be a great thing on a day where we were about to have thunderstorms and it was cold outside! hahahaha it was great! They had an Easter party as well that we stayed for it was lots of fun. Isaac and Alma loved watching the ants that they have in Malachi's class. All worker ants. It was a great day! Enjoy the pics : )

These pictures were taken right around St. Patty's Day. My pants were starting to get to be too tight. Hahahaha I didn't realize how much it showed until I was finished with the smile box! hahaha sorry about that one. The pink glasses that Lim was wearing came in a happy meal. We said all boys and ended up with one pair of pink sun glasses. Hahahaha we had a good time with them. Not just the boys it was the whole family having fun! Good times!!!

Alma is Potty Trained!!!!! Oh Yeah!!!!!! : )

Yeah so I am super Happy because Alma is now officially potty trained! We have been potty training Alma since Sunday (when we ran out of diapers and had no other choice). We could have gone to the store but he was ready this time and I was ready too. I have been gagging when I change his diapers. He also wasn't a big fan of getting his diaper changed. He didn't want to take the time. So I would tell him all the time we wouldn't have to do this if you would go in the toilet. So Sunday when we ran out I said okay time to potty train. I had him go on the potty chair and sit on it and get the feel of it. Even though he had done this before with our first attempt. He did pretty good Sunday afternoon/evening. When he woke Monday he was dry!!!! I made this a matter of prayer. I asked Heavenly Father to help me potty train him and that it would be successful. Our prayers have been answered!!! I Love the power of Prayer. It really went quiet easily. He only had a total of three accidents. Well two full and one in the making but was caught midway. Two were potty and one the other. He ended up finishing in the toilet. So I feel that was pretty easy. Every morning he woke up dry. All his accidents have been during the day. The last one he was a little bit more occupied with playing then paying attention to the urge to go potty. He ended up grabbing himself and started crying as he went potty in his pants. Poor guy! He has been super through this! He has been wearing big boy underware for the last couple of days with no trainer underware or the plastic underware just transformer underware and boxer briefs. (which are so stinkin cute!) Today was the first time he came to me and said that he had to go to the potty instead of me taking him, and to my surprise he went #2!!!!!! He went once already in the toilet but was not too happy about it. This time he just went in did what he needed to do and then called for me when he was done. It is so awesome!!! Also a side note I am getting rid of the potty chair because all three of my boys didn't like it well Malachi was way too big for it. The other two didn't like it. They wanted to go in the big potty so I am just not going to use one anymore. It is so weird to have all my children potty trained! Then again I do have one on the way. hahahaha It is great seeing the boys growing and learning. I Love It!!!

My friend Brooke came into town on her block leave before she deploys. She wanted to take me to Adam-ondi-Ahman!!! I was way excited!!! Lim took the boys for the day and had a fun time with them. It was weird going somewhere without my boys but it was really nice. : ) We also stopped by the visitor's center but it was closed due to fumes. I totally understand that one. hahaha Anyway we saw Sister Brookes who served in our ward before heading over to the visitor's center. It was awesome to see her!!! Short and sweet was our visit. Adam-ondi-Ahman was amazing!!! It was really peaceful. I could hear the birds singing and the frogs. I couldn't hear the cars on a near by road at all. One good thing about being in Kansas is being around all the history of the church that is here!!! Next I would like to go to Liberty Jail and the Visitor's Center when it is opened. Then I would like to go to Navoo after that. I will have to start planning. Even just in Kansas there is history of the saints starting to settle here and setting up what is now Fort Riley!!!! I will have to look up the details but it was announced in a tour they were giving. I didn't go but my friend did and she told me about it! How cool is that! Enjoy the pictures. Next time I will defiantly be going with Lim and the boys. : )
