Oh the wonderful things Children Do : )

On Sunday I was conducting Relief Society and when I turned the time over to the teacher, I sat down in my chair and was really into the lesson. It was great. Then all of a sudden I hear Mom and I thought oh that is cute I wonder's who child that is. Then I hear Mom again and I realized that I am the Mom and that it was Isaac. As soon as I realized that it was Isaac he says very loudly "Mom I have to Poop!" I was so embarrassed! I got up so quick and all of the sisters are laughing. I felt so bad too because it totally disrupted the lesson. Yeah so needless to say there are no dull moments here. When I got out there in the hallway I told Isaac that next time to just come up to me and say it in my ear not to blurt it out like that. He said well Mom I have to go. I said yes but you can come tell me instead of telling everyone, okay. Then he agreed. It was funny but man so embarrassing. Good times : )

The power of Prayer is AWESOME!!!!!

As you all know we have been planning on having Malachi adopted for some years now. We had a lot of things that had us wait, one was Lim's citizenship, then him coming back from being deployed, and last but not least us getting settled. Lim is deployed again but Malachi is starting school in August! So we talked and figured hey lets just get the ball rolling. See what we can do until Lim is able to come home. So while I was in Washington I was over at Crystal and Britt's house and I started looking up lawyers. Crystal was helping me choose the right one. I called him earlier this week and had an appointment today. I went to his office and it was awesome. I said a prayer before I even called them and before I went in the office. It was AWESOME! He is a really nice guy and has been doing this for 20 plus years! Which is great! Then he said that we can have Malachi adopted in 30 to 60 days depending how long it takes for the publication! Malachi will be adopted before Lim comes home!!!! There are a few options that we can do either via phone call during court or by letter. I am so excited!!!! I can't wait!!! It has really open my eyes to how powerful prayer can be!!! Also to the tender mercies of our Loving Savior and Heavenly Father!!! I was so happy I was in tears as I was on my way home talking to my Mom! We are planning on being sealed on the 5th of February 2008. That was the day that Lim and I were sealed and we want that to be the day so that it will be our family anniversary!!!! What a Happy Day this is!!! I am so excited!!! I had to tell anyone and everyone!!! Yay!!! After he is adopted I will call the temple and set things up. We will be going to the Seattle Temple to be sealed for all time and eternity!!! : ) I can't wait!!!!!
