Last night Malachi had his very 1st music program from school. He was kind of shy at first, which is kind of funny since he has been doing programs with primary. He is so funny. He was really excited before the program and doing all the actions to the songs and then when it started he hid his hands behind his back and was just staring. It was so cute. Then he warmed up towards the middle of the program. It was a patriotic theme which I thought was so stinkin cute! Here are the songs that they sang starting with: Star Spangled Banner, America (My Country Tis' of Thee), America the Beautiful, Yankee Doodle, Battle Hymn of the Republic, When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Hooray for Mr. Lincoln, Hooray for Mr. Washington, I've Been Workin on the Railroad, This Land is Your Land, March of the Wee Americans, and last but not least God Bless America!!! I am so Proud of how well he did. I started to get emotional, which is silly but it just touched my heart. He is such a sweet boy who is really Proud of his Daddy being a Soldier. He always says that when he grows up he wants to be a Soldier just like his Daddy, who's his Hero. I have to say a special Thanks to my dear friend Jessica for letting me borrow her camera since I can't find my charger and my camera is dead! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I totally forgot my video camera to record it but at least I have pictures to post. : ) Life is Good. : )

Easter

We had a very calm Easter. Well we had stake conference right after we just had General conference so Alma was a bit on the crazy side. The weird thing is I took him out and we sat in the Kitchen so we could listen to what was being said. It was a regional stake conference so we were able to go to our ward building and hear from the Prophet two weeks in a row! Awesome!!! Anyway so Alma did great when it was just the two of us. He sat on my lap and listened but as soon as I went back in he started acting up again. I tell ya. So we hung out mainly in the kitchen. After that everyone took a nice long nap. Awww so nice. Then we all got up the chicken was done in the crock pot yummy. I ended up making a whole chicken in the crock pot, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and peaches for dinner. It was quiet tasty. It was nice just enjoying the peaceful day. We did end up dying eggs later that evening for fun and then for FHE on Monday we did an Easter egg hunt. The boys had a good time and couldn't wait to eat their eggs that we had dyed. We finally did last night, potato salad and egg salad sandwiches. Yumm Yes lots of eggs but it was good anyway. We had a good friend over that my husband deployed with to Iraq. He came to church with us during General Conference the Sunday afternoon session. He felt the spirit very strongly. He started looking at his life and things that he has done and feeling a need to change. We are praying that his heart will continue to be softened and that he will come back unto the fold. He really is a sweet person that kids just love. It is amazing to see him with children. I feel so close to our Savior and Heavenly father as we talk to him about the gospel and to see how it changes our lives. I am very grateful for our Savior and for this time that we have to reflect on our Savior's life and all that he has done for us and how we can strive to live more like him. I know that this is the True Gospel here upon the earth and how grateful I am to be apart of it. I am challenging myself to share the gospel more and not to be timid but to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

Me being Crafty!!! It was fun : )

Okay so I had to post this because I think it turned out super cute and I did this free hand! I was talking to Tamara and she showed me this super cute idea of a bow and clip holder for little girls!!! I know I have all boys but since I would love to have a girl someday she indulges me : ) hahahaha Anyway plus I do have nieces to spoil so anyway I saw this and just decided to make one for my friends daughter for her birthday! She thought it was okay but all the Mom's were like how cute!!! It was funny. Anyway I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I have learned a lot from making that one so I will be making more and making some changes but I still like thought it was cute! : )

Malachi was so excited for his birthday that he woke up at six something.(not too sure on the time hehe) Isaac and Alma woke up as well with all the excitement! I heard Isaac say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALACHI!!!! Which was so cute! Malachi said Thanks Isaac and then he came into my room. Where I was acting like I was asleep. He walked in and I was expecting him to be jumping off of the walls but he was being really sweet and trying to be quiet. I of course couldn't act anymore and looked up at him and said Happy Birthday Birthday Boy!!!! He had a huge smile on his face and said Thanks Mom! Then he gave me a big hug and went back into his room to talk to his brothers. As I was doing my morning routine, all three of them went downstairs. See Malachi was sent a package for his birthday from Auntie Seesa, Net, Clairey, and Uncle Travo. He was so excited to see what they had sent him that he opended it before I even came down the stairs!! I even have a hard time opening those packages. Hahahahaha He did it though. He Loved it!!! They made him this Awesome Birthday card! We went and brought lunch to Malachi, and then came back later and brought popcicles for his birthday, to his class. It was a big hit who knew that popcicles would be a great thing on a day where we were about to have thunderstorms and it was cold outside! hahahaha it was great! They had an Easter party as well that we stayed for it was lots of fun. Isaac and Alma loved watching the ants that they have in Malachi's class. All worker ants. It was a great day! Enjoy the pics : )

Lim was having fun one night a while ago and I have always meant to post the pictures. I also took some pictures too. I just couldn't leave Lim out! I will post some pictures of me pregnant soon. These pictures were taken right around St. Patty's Day. My pants were starting to get to be too tight. Hahahaha I didn't realize how much it showed until I was finished with the smile box! hahaha sorry about that one. The pink glasses that Lim was wearing came in a happy meal. We said all boys and ended up with one pair of pink sun glasses. Hahahaha we had a good time with them. Not just the boys it was the whole family having fun! Good times!!!

Alma is Potty Trained!!!!! Oh Yeah!!!!!! : )

Yeah so I am super Happy because Alma is now officially potty trained! We have been potty training Alma since Sunday (when we ran out of diapers and had no other choice). We could have gone to the store but he was ready this time and I was ready too. I have been gagging when I change his diapers. He also wasn't a big fan of getting his diaper changed. He didn't want to take the time. So I would tell him all the time we wouldn't have to do this if you would go in the toilet. So Sunday when we ran out I said okay time to potty train. I had him go on the potty chair and sit on it and get the feel of it. Even though he had done this before with our first attempt. He did pretty good Sunday afternoon/evening. When he woke Monday he was dry!!!! I made this a matter of prayer. I asked Heavenly Father to help me potty train him and that it would be successful. Our prayers have been answered!!! I Love the power of Prayer. It really went quiet easily. He only had a total of three accidents. Well two full and one in the making but was caught midway. Two were potty and one the other. He ended up finishing in the toilet. So I feel that was pretty easy. Every morning he woke up dry. All his accidents have been during the day. The last one he was a little bit more occupied with playing then paying attention to the urge to go potty. He ended up grabbing himself and started crying as he went potty in his pants. Poor guy! He has been super through this! He has been wearing big boy underware for the last couple of days with no trainer underware or the plastic underware just transformer underware and boxer briefs. (which are so stinkin cute!) Today was the first time he came to me and said that he had to go to the potty instead of me taking him, and to my surprise he went #2!!!!!! He went once already in the toilet but was not too happy about it. This time he just went in did what he needed to do and then called for me when he was done. It is so awesome!!! Also a side note I am getting rid of the potty chair because all three of my boys didn't like it well Malachi was way too big for it. The other two didn't like it. They wanted to go in the big potty so I am just not going to use one anymore. It is so weird to have all my children potty trained! Then again I do have one on the way. hahahaha It is great seeing the boys growing and learning. I Love It!!!

My friend Brooke came into town on her block leave before she deploys. She wanted to take me to Adam-ondi-Ahman!!! I was way excited!!! Lim took the boys for the day and had a fun time with them. It was weird going somewhere without my boys but it was really nice. : ) We also stopped by the visitor's center but it was closed due to fumes. I totally understand that one. hahaha Anyway we saw Sister Brookes who served in our ward before heading over to the visitor's center. It was awesome to see her!!! Short and sweet was our visit. Adam-ondi-Ahman was amazing!!! It was really peaceful. I could hear the birds singing and the frogs. I couldn't hear the cars on a near by road at all. One good thing about being in Kansas is being around all the history of the church that is here!!! Next I would like to go to Liberty Jail and the Visitor's Center when it is opened. Then I would like to go to Navoo after that. I will have to start planning. Even just in Kansas there is history of the saints starting to settle here and setting up what is now Fort Riley!!!! I will have to look up the details but it was announced in a tour they were giving. I didn't go but my friend did and she told me about it! How cool is that! Enjoy the pictures. Next time I will defiantly be going with Lim and the boys. : )
