My new hair cut

So I have been needing a hair cut for a very long time! So Kate and I finally went and got our hair cut before Lim left to BNOC. I was really happy with my hair cut! The lady who did Kate's didn't listen very well. She cut Kate's hair a lot shorter then what Kate wanted. She is still getting used to it but it is still cute! I think she looks great. Kate and I were both traumatized when we were younger. My Mom took us to this lady who didn't know how to cut hair and made us both look like boys! Not a good activity! Anyway so we were teased horribly for the hair cuts we were given. So I haven't had short hair for a long long time because of it. Now I am over it and totally Love my short hair cuts! This is the shortest I have gone. I do love it though. It is easy and my kind of style. Kate is getting used to her hair cut and since we came home and styled it our way she feels much more better about it. Here is our before and after pictures. : )

We are home

We are home now. We got back two Monday's ago. We ended up driving back instead of flying. We inherited Keni's car (which we ended up trading cars with Lim's Dad, since his car has less miles on it and is more new) That has been such a blessing. We have been trying to figure out how Lim was going to get to VA for the 2nd part of BNOC. So this has been an answer to prayers. Through this experience we have become much closer to my husbands side of the family. I am grateful for the knowledge that we have of the Plan of Salvation. It has been a great comfort to me. Lim is doing good. It is still hard for him but he is doing better. We are both looking forward to doing his temple work in a year! It just seems so weird that he is gone but I know that he is in a much better place and is no longer suffering. When we came home the next day Chad Kate's husband came and it has been fun having him here with us. Dad and Sandi came up for the fourth of July it was a full house but we all had a blast. Lim has been put on the flag detail where he hangs up the posts flag and folds it at the end of the day. I do have pictures to share just haven't had the time to put them on my computer yet. I have lots of pics from California but I am waiting to get those in the mail. We ended up going to Knott's Berry Farm for free which was so much fun. It was hot but the kids had a blast! Alma couldn't get enough of the rides and wanted to go on the big roller coasters!!! This boy has no fear which totally freaks me out! hahahaha It was nice to go somewhere fun with the boys. We went with Sean, and her fiance David and Davie her sister! We had a blast. I will post the pictures once they come. Lim was in the Fourth of July parade! He was on the opposite side of us so we didn't get a picture of him in formation but it was a whole lot of fun and we did take some pictures of that. So lots of pictures to come. I will add more detail when I post the pictures. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well. I better go I have four children up and needing my attention. Kate is on her way back from taking her hubby to the airport.

Heading to California

We are getting ready to head to California. Lim's brother Keni passed away yesterday afternoon around 1:30 central time. He put up a good fight but his body couldn't take everything. We will be gone for about tweleve days. I will update more when I can. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Update

Here is an update on Keni. Since I have wrote last things have been really crazy. We have had lots of close calls and then been given lots of hope. There has been lots of ups and downs. As of right now Keni is on life support and dialysis. From what Lim said his oxygen levels are up and he is responding better. We were told that he had brain damage earlier this week but from what I was told this morning he doesn't have any so that is good. We don't know what is going to happen but will keep you all posted. We just keep praying that the Lords will, will be done. We are grateful to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. My sister has been in the hospital twice this week. She is doing much better now and has been released from the hospital. We are hoping that the clots will go away soon. She is on two kinds of blood thinners and will be until her levels are what they want them to be at. She is in good spirits just gets cabin fever quickly so hopefully she will have more visitors this time to help with that. I so wish I could be there but I am needed here with my boys. : ) She is doing well though and we are Grateful for that. Again Thank you all : )

Please Pray for Us.

Today has been quiet the day! This early afternoon I found out that my oldest sister Amy has cancer. She has stage 1 germ cell cancer. It is the easiest to treat and coming from people who have lost loved ones to cancer they said if you are going to have cancer this is the kind that you want. She is recovering from her surgery right now and then they are going to start Chemo in about four weeks.

Lim received a phone call this early evening stating that his brother Keni is on life support and has been in a coma since last Sunday!!! He woke up for a brief moment while Lim was talking to his youngest brother Joey. Keni didn't know what was going on and was scared then fell right back into a coma again. He didn't speak or anything. The doctors said that they have done everything medically possible to save him and that it is up to Keni now. We have been praying for him! Lim is leaving tomorrow morning to fly back home. Unfortunately we will not be able to go with him. It is good that he goes. He really wants to give him a priesthood blessing. I think that will make miracles happen. We did receive a phone call from Joey tonight saying that Keni is showing signs of improvement. That his left lung is worse then his right. We just have to have faith and hope and pray.

More pics of Malachi's first field trip!!

I couldn't get all the pics on one post so here is the rest of the pics. : )

Malachi's First Field Trip

I didn't have my camera with me when we went to the zoo for Malachi's first field trip! I was so bummed! Our charger is MIA! So thanks to some good friends of ours they took pictures and sent them to me. I still have one more friend who has some pictures for me but I thought I would post what I have. :) Malachi had a great time. Lim was able to come with us along with Isaac and Alma. We were all there and it was just a great day to spend time with eachother at the zoo. It was funny to watch Malachi with his friends. He wouldn't eat his lunch unless Daddy was standing next to him. He is afraid of the peacocks still! One came by him years ago at the zoo back home while we were eating. Since then he refuses to eat if there are peacocks around. Poor guy I hope he will grow out of that soon. These peacocks are pretty bold though. They will come right up to you and get a crumb or piece of food right next to your foot and if you are not careful they will get on the table! So crazy! Anyway we had a blast and here are the pictures of Malachi and his school mates : ) Enjoy. Malachi is almost done with Kindergarten!!! Man where does the time go! He only has two more days! Then he will go into 1st grade and Isaac and Alma start preschool next year!!! Half day but still what am I going to do before the baby is born??? I guess just get ready for the baby. hahahaha I have always had a child at home for the past 6 years. It will be weird that they are all in school well at least for half the day. Time goes by too fast!
